Sodexo is seeking experienced Full-Time, Inpatient Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic clinical team at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach, CA. This position allows the opportunity to work collaboratively work with an excellent team of dietitians in a challenging acute care setting.

What You'll Do






  • Be responsible for performing patient screens, assessments, education and documentation utilizing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) guidelines
  • Work with a variety of patients with disease states may include neonates, pediatrics, adolescents and adults and geriatrics
  • Implement care plans and counsel patients and family members
  • work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team in area, attend unit and clinical program meetings, committees and relevant activities
  • Be involved as a clinical instructor and preceptor for dietetic intern's new hires and peers

What You Bring






  • A Registered Dietitian with at least 1 or more years’ experience in an acute setting
  • Prior experience working with patients with a wide variety of disease states
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

Qualifications & Requirements






Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
