Registered Dietitian (RD)- Contract Consultant or PT

DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian/s to complete quarterly onsite visits. RD will be responsible for food safety and sanitation audits, dining audits and clinical referrals. Each community averages 4-6 hours per quarter. Depending on candidates’ availability and number of communities serviced, hours could be as much as 78 hours per quarter or average of 26-30 hours per month.  These communities can be split between more than one RD.

Must have NDTR/RD credential awarded from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

KEY RESPONSIBLITITES MAY INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Completion of MDS assessments, Section K, CAA 
• Documentation for residents at a high risk for nutritional problems. 
• Participation in the care planning process. 
• Collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team.  
• Provide oversight to the food service department with routine audit for safety, sanitation, and quality of food.  

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Commission on dietetic registration (CDR) credentials. 
• Licensed (if required by State) 
• 2 years of consulting/long term care is preferred, but we will consider many factors.
