$103K–$128K/Yr (per-point pay structure)
Tacoma, WA | PRN, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Home health nursing gives you something the hospital floor never could: one patient at a time, in their own home, with the space to actually practice the way you were trained. This PRN opening in Tacoma is built around that kind of autonomy, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and per-point compensation that rewards the skill and judgment you bring to every visit.
Compensation is paid per point, so your pay reflects the complexity and volume of the care you deliver, not just hours on a clock.
The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., PRN as needed, giving you control over how home health fits into your life.
Your caseload spans full-scope skilled nursing, from wound care and IV therapy to medication management and pain and comfort management for hospice patients, so no two days look the same.
You'll work as part of a true interdisciplinary team, coordinating directly with physicians, therapists, social workers, and aides on individualized care plans.
You'll also supervise LPNs/LVNs and home health aides, putting your clinical leadership to work in the field.
Each day, you'll head out to conduct comprehensive nursing assessments covering your patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs, then build and adjust care plans based on what you find.
Visits include hands-on skilled care such as wound care, IV therapy, and symptom management, paired with real education and emotional support for patients and the family members caring for them.
Between visits, you'll document care, schedule upcoming appointments, and keep everything aligned with agency policy and regulatory standards.
Some weeks include participation in on-call rotation, admissions, or urgent response, giving you variety beyond the standard visit schedule.
Graduate of an approved nursing program with current, active RN licensure in the state.
Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Current CPR certification, maintained throughout employment.
Valid driver's license with a properly insured vehicle in good working order, and the ability to travel to all business locations.
If you're ready for home health nursing that respects your time and your clinical judgment, we'd love to talk.
