Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Case Manager for a 13-week travel assignment in Sitka, AK.
Contract Details

  • Hourly Pay: $ 59.50
  • Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
  • Weekly Total Pay: $ 3031.00
  • Vaccine Policy: PROOF OF FLU VACCINE REQUIRED
  • EMR Used: Meditech
  • Traveler Policy: Traveler will start not less than 6 weeks AFTER fingerprint cards are received in Juneau.

The Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient‑centered nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting, supporting individuals and families across the continuum of care. This role utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; administer medications and treatments; perform clinical procedures; and provide patient education and care coordination in collaboration with providers and interdisciplinary teams. The Ambulatory RN ensures accurate documentation, adherence to infection control and regulatory standards, and efficient clinic operations while promoting quality outcomes, patient safety, and culturally responsive care in a fast‑paced ambulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care.
  • Implements and evaluates nursing interventions and patient responses.
  • Administers medications and treatments safely and accurately per provider orders and policy.
  • Recognizes changes in patient condition and initiates appropriate interventions or escalation of care.
  • Provides patient and family education related to care, medications, and discharge needs.
  • Delivers culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
  • Perform and interpret comprehensive assessments and recognize significant changes in patient condition requiring nursing intervention or provider notification.
  • Exercise independent nursing judgment in determining appropriate nursing actions, interventions, and priorities, and in identifying when consultation, collaboration, or escalation to a licensed independent provider is required.
  • Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise individualized nursing plans of care based on patient needs, responses, preferences, and clinical circumstances, rather than relying solely on standardized protocols.
  • Integrate clinical findings with ethical principles, cultural considerations, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements when making nursing decisions.
  • Accept accountability for nursing decisions, delegated tasks, and outcomes of nursing care in accordance with Alaska statutes, regulations, and organizational policy.

Compensation:

  • Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements


Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have at least 2 years of RN OB experience
  • Does not offer any housing or transportation. It is the agency’s responsibility to ensure their employee has housing and transportation.
  • Case Management certification preferred
  • Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or other U.S. state required. Direct Hire must have applied for an Alaska nursing license before start date.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  • Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
