Registered Nurse Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) NIGHTS

Location: Selma, AL

Shift - 7 PM - 7 AM, rotating weekends

Salary Range: $56,160-$85,280 depending on experience

Signing Bonus: $15K with 2-year commitment

Must-Haves

1. Graduated with an accredited associate degree in Nursing

2. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse

3. BLS certification is required

Job Responsibilities

Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatments.

Documents patient care given.

Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.

Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.

Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral,l and spiritual/psychosocial support needsEvaluatees learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Qualifications:

As a Registered Nurse / RN you will have:

Graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program as a Registered Nurse / RN.

Current state licensure as Registered Nurse / RN.

BLS certification is required. ACLS preferred
