Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg

Location: Olathe, KS

Shift Details:

• Shift: 1900-0700
• Schedule: Full-time, every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• On-call: None
• Holiday Requirement: Required

Compensation:

• Base Pay Range: $33 - $40/hour (Midpoint Pay)
• Shift Differentials:
• Evening (1500-2230): $3.50/hour
• Night (2300-0730): $5.00/hour
• Weekend (1500 Friday - 0659 Monday): $2.25/hour

Job Overview:

The Med Surg RN is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to adult and pediatric patients in a medical-surgical setting. This role involves collaborating with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare in a supportive team environment.

Unit Description:

• Patient Population: Medical Surgical Adult and Pediatrics
• Average Census & Nurse-to-Patient Ratio:
• 2N: Average Census 15 (26 beds)
• 2E: Average Census 15 (26 beds)
• 2S: Average Census 10 (18 beds)
• Equipment Used:
• Alaris Infusion Pumps, Alaris PCAs
• Stryker Beds, Umano Beds
• GE Wireless Telemetry
• Masimo Roots with Patient Safety Net

Qualifications:

• Required:
• KS RN License
• ACLS Certification
• 1 Year of RN Hospital Experience
• Preferred:
• BSN (or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years)
