Registered Nurse OB

The RN in this position provides safe, evidence-based, and culturally competent care in a very diverse community to the birthing patient and family unit. Responsibilities include:

  Accurate interpretation of Electronic Fetal Monitoring

  
  


• 
  

  Timely and appropriate labor interventions

  
  


• 
  

  Skilled postpartum and newborn care

  
  


• 
  

  Effective patient and family education, including discharge planning

  
  


• 
  

  Clear, timely documentation in the electronic health record

  
  


• 
  

  Rapid response to changing patient acuity and department needs

  
  


• 
  

  Professional collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team

  
  

Qualifications: 

• 
  

  Current Registered Nurse license

  
  


• 
  

  Strong clinical judgement and the ability to work well within a team

  
  


• 
  

  Prior nursing experience preferred; OB nursing experience strongly preferred
