Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Days), Lawton, OK

• Days 12 Hour Days (36 Hour Guarantee)

• Hourly Pay: $ 28.00
  
• Non-taxed Stipend: $1071.00
  
• Weekly Total Pay: $ 1827.00
  
• Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule period
  
• Traveler Policy: Must live outside of 50 mile travel radius of facility to qualify
  

• Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
  
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
  
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
  
• Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of MS experience
  
• Recent traveler experience preferred
  
• NIHSS certification desired
  
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  
• Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
