Job Summary
This is for general surgery and urology.Pay Range
Minimum $58.34 Midpoint $77.32 Maximum $96.29Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
• Required: Minimum three (3) years of operating room experience, which includes at least two (2) years in area specialty.
• Preferred: Two (2) years of pediatric operating room experience.
Education
• Required: Associate degree in Nursing - must complete BSN within 2 years of hire
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Training
• Required: Broad based knowledge of advanced concepts in operating room practices and nursing.

Specialized Skills
• Required: Strong clinical knowledge of specialty nursing. Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with standards and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and technology. Effectively solve complex patient care issues; role model positive and professional behavior. Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills to develop standards of care and procedures and to evaluate the quality of nursing care. Leverage interpersonal relationships and collaboration skills to promote teamwork and exceed customer expectations. Strong analytical and organizational skills to resolve complex patient problems, develop standards of care and procedures, and evaluate the quality of nursing care. Attention to detail, vigilance, poise, and composure in stressful situations.
• Preferred: Prior experience in progressive clinical, educational, and leadership roles in acute pediatric, encompassing multidisciplinary services and a broad continuum of care preferred.
Licensure
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Registered Nurse – CA (RN) Advanced Life Support (ACLS).
• Preferred: Certified RN – OR (CNOR) - within one year from date of hire.
