Position – Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor
Location: VMP Healthcare and Community Living – West Allis, WI (on-site position)
Status: Part-Time or Full-Time
Schedule: 3rd shift (NOC) 10pm – 6:30am

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our skilled nursing facility’s team. The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality resident care, supervising nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a positive clinical environment. This leadership role serves as a resource for nurses, CNAs, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure delivery of quality resident-centered care in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state/federal regulations
- Conduct resident assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Review and follow up on incident reports, medication errors, and resident concerns
- Assist with staffing assignments and scheduling needs
- Provide coaching, mentoring and performance feedback to nursing staff
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor infection prevention practices and quality assurance initiatives
- Respond to emergencies and provide direct resident care as needed
- Promote a culture of safety, dignity, and respect for residents
- Participation in weekend and holiday rotation

Qualifications:
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMS) (preferred)
- Previous long-term care, rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Wisconsin DHS regulations, CMS requirements, and nursing standards
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience (preferred)
