Typical responsibilities

• 
  

  Provide school-based nursing care, triage, and first aid

  
  


• 
  

  Administer medications and manage health plans per policy

  
  


• 
  

  Document visits and communicate with school staff/guardians as appropriate

  
  


• 
  

  Respond to student health concerns and emergencies

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Active RN license (New York)

  
  


• 
  

  Current BLS/CPR

  
  


• 
  

  Prior school, pediatrics, clinic, urgent care, or community health experience is a plus

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
