The Midtown Stepdown Unit is a 19-bed specialty unit caring for patients who require close monitoring and advanced nursing care as they transition from critical illness toward recovery. From cardiac and stroke patients to sepsis and complex medical-surgical conditions, Stepdown nurses are trusted to recognize subtle changes, manage titratable drips, interpret cardiac rhythms, perform NIH Stroke Scale assessments, and provide high-level patient care. 

This unit is ideal for nurses who enjoy critical thinking, fast-paced environments, and caring for higher-acuity patients without being in a traditional ICU setting. Requirements 

• Active Indiana RN license or valid compact RN license
