The Telemetry/Stepdown Unit at Deaconess Henderson cares for a diverse population of cardiac, stroke, sepsis, and complex medical-surgical patients who require closer monitoring and advanced nursing care. As a 21-bed specialty unit, nurses gain hands-on experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation, titratable medication drips, NIH Stroke Scale assessments, and higher-acuity patients—all while building a strong foundation for future career growth.
