Registered Nurse Unit Manager - Bronx

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all supervisory duties for the assigned unit.
• Develop and implement employee policies and procedures.
• Mentor and guide less experienced nursing staff with clinical and career advice.
• Maintain and uphold the highest standards of care within the unit.
• Review patient records and ensure quality of care.
• Monitor overall patient care and address individual cases as needed.
• Serve as a point of contact for resident and family concerns.
• Represent unit interests and needs to upper management.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NY.
• 3+ years of experience in long-term care (preferred).
• 2+ years of charge nurse or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Proficient with computer systems and healthcare software.
