The Registered Polysomnographic Tech position is part of the EEG/Sleep Lab Department and is a contingent role working approximately 12 hours per two-week pay period, with hours that may vary based on departmental needs. This position provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders while collaborating with multiple disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold licensure in the State of Ohio as a Respiratory Therapist with Sleep Lab experience or as a Registered or Certified Polysomnographer (CRT-SDS, RRT-SDS, CCHS) or be actively pursuing appropriate credentials.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to follow procedures independently while maintaining high standards of patient care

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct polysomnography studies, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

• Gather and analyze patient information and follow testing preparation procedures

• Score polysomnographic records as appropriate

• Provide patient care and education related to sleep disorders

• Support management of the Sleep Lab office and related service management duties

• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory staff, and other departments to ensure a seamless approach to care

• Adhere to all standards of practice while promoting teamwork and patient safety
