Santa Cruz Post Acute is seeking an energetic and dependable Rehab Aide to support our therapy department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a team setting, and wants to play an important role in improving residents’ quality of life.

Position Summary

The Rehab Aide assists licensed therapists in the daily operations of the therapy department. Responsibilities include supporting patient care activities, maintaining equipment, preparing treatment areas, and assisting with documentation and scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical and Occupational Therapy staff with non-clinical tasks to support resident treatment sessions

• Prepare and clean treatment areas and equipment before and after use

• Help transport residents to and from the therapy gym

• Organize therapy supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure equipment is in good working order

• Provide administrative support such as filing, scanning, scheduling, and basic documentation

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff

• Demonstrate professionalism and positive customer service at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous rehab aide or caregiving experience preferred, but not required—we will train the right candidate

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist with resident mobility needs

• Compassionate attitude and commitment to resident-centered care

Compensation

• Starting at $20 per hour (DOE)
