Rehab Tech - Outpatient Physical Therapy

The Physical Therapy Rehab Tech supports the efficient clinical workflow of our outpatient Physical Therapy services by assisting Physical Therapists (PT) and Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA).

• Assists with maintaining treatment areas.
• Prepares for therapy sessions and supports PT and PTA with patient care.
• Collaborates with other Rehab Techs to optimize coverage.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service.
• Communicates clearly, respectfully, and professionally with patients, family, and clinical team.
• Complies with all OSHA, HIPAA, BBP and other protocols.

This is a full-time position. Monday thru Friday, 40 hours per week, with shifts assigned between the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm in our Port St. Lucie (Tradition) office.

• Minimum one (1) year experience in a clinical/medical setting is preferred.
• Prior work experience as a Rehab Tech helpful.
• Medical Assistant experience is helpful.
• Must be cheerful, energetic and able to multi-task in a high patient volume environment.
• Must be a self-starter, able to demonstrate initiative and apply learning to active clinic environment.
• Must demonstrate outstanding communication skills in speaking to clinicians, patients and co-workers; must be able to take direction.
• Computer experience is helpful.

Physical Demands:

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Lifting, pulling, and stooping when assisting patients up to 300 lbs.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
