Opportunity:
We are currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach SPAC 315- Space Policy. Geopolitical, technological, historical context and external societal forces influence space policy making. Examine policy alternatives connecting science, culture and society; ethical dilemmas of global policy development and exploration's influence on human aspirations and anxieties.
Please note that ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including during training. Presently, we are able to support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states except California. ERAU does not support work from international locations with some limited exceptions for individuals who are residing and working from U.S. military bases.
If selected for this role, the candidate will be required to provide proof of stated qualifications. This includes, but is not limited to, official transcripts, copies of professional licenses/certifications, documentation of military experience, and/or verified professional industry related experience.
Doctor’s or Master’s degree in teaching discipline, or a Masters’s degree with a concentration in teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
Desired Professional Training or Experience
Specific industry, military or university training, or experience in space-related practice including: working in business, industry, military related to space and/or exploration; also experience in policy development or interpretation and application.
