Adobe XD Creative Designer

Hybrid Graphic/UI Designer - Remote/Freelance

DentalCMO is a quickly expanding marketing company that services hundreds of dental practices. We are looking for a truly amazing detail-oriented person to join our design team!

This is a remote contract (1099) design position that requires working knowledge and best practices in both UI and UX in both print and web, creating design solutions under the Creative Director in the design team for clients. To be great at this job you need to understand good responsive layout principles with mobile first typically in mind, typography, great tone and look/feel interpretation and implementation of the brand, have creative and unique concepts, and color scheme/coordination. We have a fantastic Creative Director who will mentor you and help you elevate your creative skill set along the way. 

***NOTE: This will not involve ANY coding or case study research.***

Necessary Skills - A very good working knowledge of the following:

• STRONG working knowledge of Adobe AI, INDD, and PSD.

• Current website design trends and best practices in the print process, typography, hierarchical design, mobile first and responsive design specifically within Wordpress (please provide a your portfolio with relevant experience).
  


• Polished and detailed design eye (our clients are medical practitioners and need to look warm, friendly and professional, or adjusting per their brand requirements).
  


• Creative & unique execution of design, no stealing or copying other designs from the web.


• Ability to curb design pride and do what the client wants, and executing the vision, strategy, and direction of the Creative Director. Even if you think it’s ugly. It’s hard to do, but we have to give our paying clients what they want while putting our best foot forward.


• Versatility - you will be assisting the Creative Director in a range of projects from file organization, logo and file exporting/packaging, photoshop work, print pieces, digital ads, signs, wordpress sites, and so on but not limited to

Needed to Start

• As of right now, our whole team is working remotely. This means you will need a reliable internet connection, your own Adobe account, computer, and a quiet workstation at home.
  


• Projects come and go, so the position is on an 'as-needed' basis. Responsive communication is key.

Qualifications

• Background in UI, with a basic understanding if UX, wordpress, and extensive experience with general design. (Please provide a portfolio)


• At least 1-2 years Adobe experience


• Great attitude!


• Responsive communication (Slack) and quick (but reasonable) turnarounds
