Join us as an Assistant Superintendent!

 Some of your key responsibilities include:  

• Support the superintendent to complete the project within the given budget and time frame.


• Assist with setup of field office facilities and filing system, scheduling of workers, and procurement of necessary equipment and materials.


• Attend meetings and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors. 


• Assure that proper safety standards and precautions are followed.


• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with scope of work.


• Assist with preparing and completing punch list.


• Projects are throughout the U.S. and temporary relocation to site is required.  CMC will provide lodging and GSA per diem for meals.   Airfare for visits home every other weekend is provided by CMC. 


•  An upbeat, positive, results oriented attitude is a must.

 Qualifications:

• Construction Management or Engineering Degree preferred


• At least 1 years of experience in a similar role, internship or co-op. 


• Proficiency required in appropriate systems, including but not limited to MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)


• Must be dependable, possess a sense of urgency, organized, detail-oriented, possess comfort while multi-tasking, and show strong follow-up skills


• Ability to interact and work closely with team members in a busy environment under pressure


• Excellent verbal and written communication and interrelationship skills   

• Must take initiative, be open to learning and taking on new tasks


• Ability to travel and be away from home for up to 12 days at time is a requirement.


• Familiarity with Lean practices is beneficial but not required.


• Familiarity with BIM models and clash detection is beneficial but not required.
