Business Analyst

Position Overview 

The Business Analyst will analyze business processes, gather requirements, identify operational inefficiencies, and help define technology solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with an understanding of digital transformation, enterprise software, data, automation, AI, IoT, and technology-enabled process improvement.

This is a remote position supporting US-based clients and distributed delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements from clients and stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and functional requirements.
• Work with technical teams to define practical solutions.
• Create process flows, reports, and requirement documents.
• Support Agile meetings, sprint planning, and project discussions.
• Assist with testing, UAT, and solution validation.
• Analyze business data and prepare insights for decision-making.
• Communicate project requirements, updates, and issues to stakeholders.
• Support digital transformation, automation, AI, IoT, and enterprise technology projects.
• Track requirements, risks, dependencies, and project deliverables.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and client expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Product Analysis, Consulting, or a related position.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business requirements.
• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex business problems into structured requirements and actionable solutions.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business productivity tools.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote, distributed environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital transformation or enterprise automation projects.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
• IoT and edge computing
• RFID / asset tracking
• Computer vision
• Enterprise applications
• Data analytics and visualization
• GIS / location intelligence
• Supply chain or logistics technology
• Manufacturing technology
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or comparable tools.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, integrations, middleware, or cloud platforms.
• Experience conducting ROI, feasibility, or process-improvement analysis.
• Business analysis certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent experience.

Salary: $123,000–$145,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, location, and role scope.
