Job Description - Digital Operations Support (Ciudad de México)
We are currently seeking a Digital Operations Support professional for a new market, to be part of the Customer Operations team in Mexico.
From Veridas’ subsidiary in Mexico, the role will be responsible for, among other tasks: Providing Level 2 support to on-premises customers, primarily in Mexico
Developing documentation
Developing integration tools
Visiting and supporting clients on-site
Supporting cloud customers across all geographies outside of business hours in Spain
Reviewing incoming support tickets and alerts
Troubleshooting issues in cloud environments
Resolving provisioning-related issues (primarily for Mexican clients)
Performing routine operations on VeriSaaS Cloud
Monitoring and performing maintenance tasks
Managing releases
Handling provisioning
Performing routine operations on Phygital Cloud
Monitoring and performing maintenance tasks
Managing tenants
Accessing and rebooting terminals
Training new team members on the role’s responsibilities
Assisting Customer Support in technical support and maintenance actions
IT tasks:
Small activities that require minimal effort and time, outside of business hours in Spain
Advocating within the LATAM team for the use of central IT services.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Postgraduate studies preferred and/or similar qualifications, with consideration based on experience.
At least 1 year of experience in similar roles, with a focus on customer support, technical troubleshooting, and integrations.
Languages: advanced English.
Experience with application containers like Docker, as well as knowledge in developing applications with high-level languages such as Python.
Experience working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL).
Advanced knowledge of Linux systems (command line, file systems, networking, etc.).
Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong customer orientation, initiative, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and analytical abilities.
Additional preferred skills:
Knowledge and experience with PaaS solutions like OpenShift, Kubernetes, or OpenStack.
Experience with NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch) is highly valued.
Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
