COMPENSATION THIS IS A 1099 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POSITION. MONTHLY RETAINER: $1,000 PER STATE OF COLLABORATION. COMPENSATION IS PAID MONTHLY THROUGH THE COMPANY'S PAYROLL PROCESS.
What You'll Do As a Collaborating Physician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring high-quality patient care while supporting Nurse Practitioners practicing across multiple states. Responsibilities include: • Serve as the collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners under state-specific collaboration agreements • Conduct required chart reviews to ensure quality and regulatory compliance • Provide clinical guidance and consultation to Nurse Practitioners as needed • Participate in periodic meetings with clinical leadership • Review documentation and maintain accurate records within the EHR • Escalate clinical or compliance concerns when appropriate • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, telehealth regulations, and state collaborative practice laws Please note: This role focuses on physician collaboration and oversight. It does not involve managing your own patient panel or providing routine direct patient care.
Required Qualifications • MD or DO from an accredited medical school • Active, unrestricted medical license • Active DEA Registration • Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) • Board Certification in an applicable specialty • Active Malpractice Insurance • Knowledge of Nurse Practitioner collaborative practice regulations • Reliable internet connection for remote collaboration • Ability to provide timely consultation and physician oversight
