Summary:
The Director, Government Relations in Colorado is responsible for managing contracts and relationships with Colorado state agencies (e.g., the Departments of Public Health and the Environment, Health Care Policy and Financing, Department of Regulatory Affairs, Office of information Technology, and Behavioral Health Administration). This position manages a growing portfolio of existing projects and leads the development of new and innovative projects. Work with includes program management of all deliverables within stated deadlines, internal coordination of the contracts with various departments in Contexture, coordinating invoicing and revenue monitoring, and writing reports.
The Director will help the state agencies partner with the health information exchange to accomplish strategic goals, including improving health outcomes, promoting an integrated healthcare system, and strengthening health information technology infrastructure. This role requires the ability to work independently as well as with a variety of groups. Maintaining flexibility while working on various project efforts simultaneously is key to this role.
This position is based in Denver Colorado; or Grand Junction, Colorado and requires local residency in one of these base locations. Our strategic flexibility allows for local work from home opportunities.
