Join us as an Executive Superintendent!

 Some of your key responsibilities include:  

• Oversee the management of the overall construction site, including subcontractors, suppliers etc.


• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.


• Be an advocate for CMC standard operating procedures and enforce on the project.


• Maintain a safe, organized, and OSHA compliant work site.


• Create and manage project schedule with project manager; create 6 week look ahead schedules.


• Maintain Procore records, daily log, and photo logs of project activities.


• Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.


• Communicate with project team regarding bulletins, RFI’s and material submittals.


• Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.


• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.  Assist in securing permits from local AHJ. 


• Walk entire jobsite multiple times per day to monitor activities and coordinate in future planning.


• Presides over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.


• Provide project coverage as needed to accommodate project schedule.


• Perform progress and completion punch list identification and completion.


• Mentor and coach design/build team.


• Manage facility start up.


• Manage 3rd party testing and inspection.


• Projects are throughout the U.S. extended stay travel is required.


• An upbeat, positive, results oriented attitude is a must.

 Qualifications:

• Construction Management or Engineering Degree preferred but not required with significant career experience.  

• 15+ years of experience in construction management for building construction


• Ground-up project experience and tenant improvement project experience is required.


• Experience with cold storage insulated metal building envelopes is required.


• Experience with industrial refrigeration systems is required.


• Proven record of successful execution of $20M- 70M+ projects


• 30 hour OSHA certification will be required.


• First Aid/AED/CPR certification will be required.


• NFPA certification will be required.


• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Mastery in reading and understanding plans, specs, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals


• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members from all levels of the organization


• Reliable, attentive, and eager to learn more about the construction industry


• Familiarity with computers and internet usage. Including proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Microsoft Project, Bluebeam and Procore


• Ability to travel and be away from home for up to 12 days at time is a requirement.


• Familiarity with Lean practices is beneficial but not required.


• Familiarity with BIM models and clash detection is beneficial but not required.
