IT Director

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all IT operations as well as the infrastructure.
• Determine the organization's IT goals and make sure the IT operations are aimed to achieve these goals.
• Design IT systems and policies in accordance to die organizational goals.
• Collaborate with other departments, understand their business requirements and technological needs.
• Manage and supervise the staff of the IT department.
• Purchase technological equipment, software that is efficient and economical.
• Take care of the maintenance of IT projects and technological equipment, ensuring its efficient use.
• Inform the higher officials in case any up-gradation and configuration is needed in the existing projects.
• Identify vulnerable areas and, ways and space for improvement.
• Provide guidance and supervision to computer technicians and various other IT professionals.
• Prepare as well as control the budget and report the expenditure to the higher officials.
• Contribute to building and maintaining relationships with advisors and vendors.

Job Skills:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or other related courses.
• Proven experience as an IT Director or in other relevant roles.
• Good knowledge of IT systems and operations.
• Understanding of computer system, network, technical equipment, etc.
• Experience in budget controlling in the IT sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good leadership qualities and organizational skills.
• Project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Good analytical mindset.
