Remote Luxury Travel Consultant

We are seeking an experienced and highly personable Luxury Travel Consultant to design and coordinate exceptional, tailor-made travel experiences for discerning clients. The ideal candidate combines a passion for luxury travel with strong destination knowledge, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate clients' needs.

This role involves managing the full travel-planning process, from the initial consultation and itinerary design through booking, pre-trip coordination, and post-trip follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, expectations, and budget.
• Design customized luxury itineraries for leisure, milestone celebrations, family vacations, honeymoons, and special occasions.
• Research and recommend luxury hotels, resorts, villas, cruises, private tours, restaurants, transportation, and exclusive experiences.
• Develop strong relationships with luxury travel suppliers, hotels, destination management companies, tour operators, and other industry partners.
• Manage reservations and coordinate flights, accommodations, transfers, excursions, dining, and special requests.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on destinations, cultural experiences, dining, activities, and seasonal considerations.
• Anticipate potential challenges and proactively resolve issues before and during clients' trips.
• Maintain accurate client profiles, preferences, reservations, and travel documentation.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with clients throughout the planning and travel process.
• Deliver a highly personalized, white-glove level of service that exceeds client expectations.
• Stay current on luxury travel trends, new destinations, properties, experiences, and supplier offerings.
• Follow up with clients after travel to gather feedback, strengthen relationships, and identify future travel opportunities.
• Build and maintain a loyal client portfolio through referrals, repeat business, networking, and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in luxury travel, travel advising, hospitality, concierge services, or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of luxury destinations, hotels, resorts, cruises, and travel experiences.
• Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, itineraries, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Professional, polished, and discreet demeanor.
• Familiarity with travel booking systems, CRM platforms, and industry technology.
