Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and other digital products.
• Identify, document, track, and report software defects and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, usability, compatibility, and performance testing as required.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to understand requirements and establish quality standards.
• Validate software functionality against business requirements, technical specifications, and user expectations.
• Utilize testing tools and frameworks to improve test coverage, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile development activities to promote quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain clear documentation of test results, defects, test procedures, and quality assurance processes.
• Recommend improvements to testing strategies, workflows, and quality standards to enhance overall product reliability.
• Ensure software releases meet established quality benchmarks before deployment.
• Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, automation frameworks, testing tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Tester, QA Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with manual testing and familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking and project management tools such as Jira or equivalent systems.
• Understanding of web technologies, databases, and basic SQL queries for data validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to create clear test documentation and communicate technical issues effectively.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple testing tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of performance testing, security testing, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks is a plus.

Salary: $104,856–$138,879 per year.
