We're looking for a BIM Modeler to join one of our clients, a construction company based in Florida that has recently expanded into laser scanning, modeling, and documentation services. This is a flexible, remote position with a workload that varies with project demand, and you must be available to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST). What you'll do:

  Receive point cloud data from the client's scanning team and turn it into accurate Revit models and documentation sets for commercial projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Define the Scope of Work (SOW) with the client for each project, clarifying deliverables, level of detail, and expectations from the start.

  
  


• 
  

  Estimate the time and effort each project needs, set realistic deadlines, and consistently meet them.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop 3D models and produce SD and DD drawing sets, including floor plans, sections, and elevations.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare CD permit sets for submission to local authorities.

  
  


• 
  

  Follow and continuously improve the established procedures, checklists, and workflows for Scan-to-BIM production.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate proactively with the client, sharing regular progress updates, flagging risks or delays early, and making sure there are no surprises on delivery.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform quality control to ensure consistency and accuracy between the point cloud, models, and drawings.

  
  


• 
  

  Keep project files organized and prepare PDF and other deliverables.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage multiple projects with varying volumes and timelines while keeping accuracy and deadlines on track.

  
  


• 
  

  As the service grows, help shape its processes and eventually lead and coordinate other modelers to meet increasing demand.

  
  

What you must have:

• 
  

  3+ years of experience as a BIM Modeler, Scan-to-BIM Modeler, or Revit Production Specialist.

  
  


• 
  

  Hands-on experience with Scan-to-BIM workflows, working from point cloud data.

  
  


• 
  

  Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working on commercial projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Advanced English level.

  
  


• 
  

  Solid understanding of the project lifecycle (SD through CD) and of construction documentation, including permit sets.

  
  


• 
  

  Proven ability to estimate work, define scope, and set and meet realistic deadlines.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent, proactive communication skills, with the habit of keeping clients informed without being asked.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong self-management skills, taking full ownership of your time, deliverables, and scope of work.

  
  


• 
  

  A project manager mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit, with genuine interest in growing beyond task execution and helping build a new service line.

  
  


• 
  

  Comfort with a flexible, fluctuating workload in the early stages, with the drive to grow alongside the role.

  
  

A great plus:

• 
  

  Experience with NavVis scanners or NavVis point cloud data.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating other drafters or modelers.

  
  


• 
  

  Background in project management or client-facing roles in the AEC industry.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with U.S. drafting standards and BIM coordination workflows.
