Sigma Systems is currently looking for a Senior Program Coordinator to work onsite in Boston, MA.

Temporary Senior Program Coordinator – Degree Progress Report (DPR) Support
Can be remote.


Summary:

The Temporary Senior Program Coordinator will support implementation, maintenance, testing, and operational activities related to the degree audit and Student Information System. This role will perform structured data entry, system record updates, documentation maintenance, validation, and routine project support to help ensure the continued accuracy of student-facing degree audits while senior functional staff focus on complex configuration, testing, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Support degree audit sharing rule maintenance, updates, and related documentation.
  • Perform course list configuration and maintenance related to graduate Degree Progress Reports and auto-graduation readiness.
  • Complete high-volume data entry and system record updates to support degree audit configuration and maintenance.
  • Assist with entry and validation of academic advising rules, sharing rules, and other degree audit configuration.
  • Conduct quality assurance and validation of degree audit data, academic requirements, course applicability, and student record information.
  • Identify, research, and correct data discrepancies affecting Degree Progress Reports and academic requirements.
  • Maintain project documentation, implementation tracking materials, academic advising support documentation, and electronic project files.
  • Use word processing, spreadsheet, and other software applications to monitor progress, document results, and support project activities.
  • Complete routine operational tasks and general DPR project support under the direction of the Associate Director for Academic Advising.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with student records and institutional data.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, learn new business processes, and apply instructions consistently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, electronic file management, and related office software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with student information and institutional records.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience comparable to a Senior Program Coordinator or prior experience supporting student records, transfer credit, academic advising, degree audit, or Degree Progress Report operations is preferred.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or a similar student information system is strongly preferred and would help reduce onboarding time.

Work Expectations:

  • The temporary employee will be expected to complete assigned work accurately and efficiently, identify issues requiring escalation, document completed work, and collaborate with DPR functional staff to support ongoing implementation and maintenance activities.
