Senior Social Media Strategist 

Department: Digital Marketing

Reporting to: Senior, Social Media Manager

Location: Remote / Florida / Travel up to 40% throughout FL/GA

Type: Mid Level (4+ years’ experience preferred)

Position Summary

This position will report to the Senior, Social Media Manager, on the Digital Marketing team, a part of Marketing Department. Top-level duties include documenting Trulieve’s corporate social media branding, tonality, and identity across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, live-streaming, recorded video and more. This role will also have managerial responsibilities, which will provide direction and mentorship with content team to brief in programs, build timelines and execute within brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Implement Social Strategy led by Senior Social Manager, curating to your specific markets


• Capture video content across in-store activations, community events, and physician engagement.


• Build social calendar and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification


• Lead and mentor team of content creatives, giving them clear direction and guidance to execute programs


• Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action


• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content


• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community


• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information


• Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate action


• Develop brand tone and voice, leading copywriting on Trulieve corporate channels to deliver on all social content. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred: Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or similar (Not required)


• Social media management 4+ years’ experience preferred


• Experience with Sprinklr/Hootsuite/HubSpot/Meltwater or similar


• Travel: 40-50% in field visits (Florida and Georgia)  


• Flexibility of hours – nights and weekends


• Technology proficiency


• Belief in relationship building and working as part of a team to achieve goals/results


• Organized, responsible and flexible in a fast-paced growth environment

WORK SCHEDULE:

• 40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on business needs.


• Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays
