JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing Shopify stores based on client requirements. This is a client-facing role, so you will work directly with clients to understand their needs, provide technical recommendations, communicate project updates, and ensure that Shopify projects are completed efficiently and professionally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shopify Development: Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites and online stores.


• Theme Customization: Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.


• Website Features: Build and modify Shopify sections, templates, layouts, and website functionalities.


• Client Communication: Communicate directly with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates, and address technical concerns.


• Technical Recommendations: Recommend appropriate Shopify solutions, apps, integrations, and website improvements based on client needs.


• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to Shopify themes, apps, integrations, and website functionality.


• Third-Party Integrations: Integrate Shopify with third-party applications, payment platforms, marketing tools, and other systems.


• Website Optimization: Improve website speed, performance, responsiveness, usability, and overall customer experience.


• Mobile Responsiveness: Ensure websites function properly across desktop, mobile, and other devices.


• Quality Assurance: Test website features, updates, and integrations before deployment.


• SEO Support: Implement technical SEO best practices and optimize Shopify website structures when required.


• Project Updates: Provide clear and timely updates regarding project progress, challenges, timelines, and completed tasks.


• Collaboration: Work with clients, designers, marketers, and other team members to successfully complete projects.

• General Shopify Development with a focus on e-commerce websites.


• Specialized in Shopify Theme Customization, Website Development, Troubleshooting, Integrations, and Website Optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS

• College Undergraduate, or College Graduate.


• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or in a similar e-commerce development role.


• Strong knowledge of Shopify, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.


• Experience with Shopify themes, apps, and third-party integrations.


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing directly with clients.


• Comfortable participating in client meetings and explaining technical concepts to non-technical clients.


• Able to understand client requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.


• Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.


• Organized, proactive, and able to work independently.


• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, systems, and client processes.


• Available for full-time work.


• Experience working with international clients is a plus.


• A Shopify portfolio or examples of previous work is highly preferred.

• Storage: Minimum of 112 GB.


• Internet Speed: At least 10 Mbps for both download and upload speeds.
