Team members at Faith Promise are committed to living out, and helping others live out, our core values:
- Love God
- Love People
- Discover Purpose
- Win Your World
The Social Media Coordinator owns the daily public voice of Faith Promise Church across four accounts: Faith Promise Church, Pastor Zac, Win Network, and The Most Podcast. This role decides what gets said, builds most of what gets posted, publishes it on a consistent rhythm, and grows the audience that our vision depends on reaching.
The weekend message and The Most Podcast produce most of the raw material these accounts run on, and each account carries a different flavor from there. The Faith Promise account also features church events, campus life, and next steps. Win Network speaks to church leaders. Pastor Zac's account runs as a reflection of what Faith Promise and Win Your World are already saying rather than as a separate personal feed. This role holds all four in view at once and keeps each one sounding like itself.
This is a ministry role first. Communications at Faith Promise exists to help people meet Jesus, grow in Him, and win their world. The Social Media Coordinator carries that calling into every hook written, every clip chosen, every post published, and every comment answered.
Account Ownership and Audience Growth
The Social Media Coordinator is the owner of these accounts, not a set of hands executing someone else's plan. This person arrives with a point of view about what will work and takes responsibility for the results.
- Owns strategy, calendar, and growth for the Faith Promise Church, Pastor Zac, Win Network, and The Most Podcast accounts.
- Sets and holds a consistent posting cadence on every account, including Win Network, which needs to look like a living account rather than a placeholder.
- Keeps each account in its own lane, including church events and next steps on the Faith Promise account and leader-facing content on Win Network.
- Tracks reach, engagement, follower growth, and click-through, and brings a clear read on what is working to the weekly planning meeting.
- Studies what is working for other churches and ministries doing this well and adapts it to our voice rather than copying it.
- Provides design assistance to Lead Graphic Designer as needed.
Hook and Audience Development
Our content asks people to do something demanding, which is to share their faith. That message does not hook an audience on its own. This role is responsible for finding the entry point that earns the click and then serving the Win Your World life once people are there.
- Develops the hooks, thumbnails, titles, and opening lines that get our content watched by people who do not already know us.
- Identifies the topics and angles that pull a wider audience toward the message, including apologetics, cultural questions, and everyday faith conversations.
- Brings proposed hooks and angles to the Pastor of Communications and Marketing before publishing anything that could be read as controversial.
- Tests, measures, and adjusts rather than repeating what has always been done.
Content Creation
The Social Media Coordinator creates the majority of what goes on these accounts and pulls in help for the rest.
- Builds quote cards, single-slide posts, and text graphics using approved templates and AI-assisted design workflows.
- Writes all captions and copy in the voice of Faith Promise, of Win Your World, and of Pastor Zac.
- Selects the moments from each weekend message and each episode of The Most Podcast that should become clips, and passes clear timecodes and direction to the Video Editor.
- Requests high-craft design work from the Lead Designer through the normal project intake process, reserving that capacity for pieces that genuinely need it.
- Loads and schedules ad creative and marketing content onto the accounts in support of church-wide campaigns.
Campus Social and On-Site Capture
The Social Media Coordinator leads the volunteers and campus partners who feed content in from every location, and makes sure the moments worth capturing are actually captured.
- Manages the Winning Team volunteers who run campus social accounts, including recruiting, training, and development.
- Connects with campus social leads on a regular rhythm for alignment, brand consistency, and shared ideation.
- Attends and captures content at all conferences and major church-wide events, or builds and directs a team to cover what one person cannot.
- Turns conference and event capture into same-day and next-day posts across the relevant accounts.
Publishing and Community Management
- Publishes and schedules all content across every platform and account.
- Monitors and responds to comments and direct messages daily, in a tone that reflects the heart of the church.
- Flags pastoral concerns, criticism, and crisis situations to the Pastor of Communications and Marketing quickly rather than handling them alone.
- Coordinates with campus and ministry teams to capture moments worth posting from events, baptisms, and conferences.
- Other duties as assigned.
The following rhythms are a required and consistent part of this role. They are the architecture that makes the work compound instead of scatter.
- Weekly Content Planning with the Pastor of Communications and Marketing, covering the coming week's posts, hooks, and performance from the prior week.
- Weekly Podcast and Content Meeting with Pastor Zac and the Video Editor, setting topics, guests, and the clips that will come out of each episode of The Most Podcast.
- Weekly Handoff to the Video Editor, delivering clip selections and timecodes on a fixed day so editing never waits on decisions.
- Weekly Team Project Triage with the full Creative Team for intake, capacity, and deadline alignment.
- Monthly Campus Social Connect with the Winning Team leads for alignment, ideation, and shared wins.
- Monthly Account Review, a short written read on growth and engagement across all four accounts with recommendations for the next month.
- A clear sense of calling to ministry and alignment with the vision, values, and theology of Faith Promise Church.
- Two or more years running social accounts with measurable audience growth, whether for an organization, a leader, or a personal brand with real traction.
- Demonstrated instinct for what earns attention online, supported by examples of content this person made that performed.
- Strong writing skills, including the ability to write in another leader's voice with accuracy and warmth.
- Working ability to build clean graphics and short-form video without waiting on a designer for routine posts.
- Fluency with AI-powered workflows for clip identification, copy drafting, and template-based design, along with a willingness to learn the systems this team is building.
- Ability to lead volunteers well, including training them and holding a standard with grace.
- Self-starting and organized. This person arrives with a plan and runs it without close supervision.
- Availability to attend conferences and major church-wide events, including some weekends and evenings.
Preferred
- Experience in a church, ministry, or nonprofit environment.
- Experience supporting a podcast or other long-form content as a source for short-form distribution.
- Familiarity with paid social and campaign trafficking.
- Experience managing a public leader's personal account alongside an organizational account.
In the first 90 days, all four accounts are posting on a consistent published cadence, the weekly content rhythm with the Pastor of Communications and Marketing and the Video Editor is established, and Win Network no longer looks like an inactive page.
At six months, the weekend message and The Most Podcast are reliably feeding clips and quote content to every account, engagement is measurably up, and this person is bringing hooks and angles to the team that no one else had thought of. Campus social is aligned and contributing rather than running on its own. Pastor Zac's account reflects the vision of Faith Promise and Win Your World without requiring his direct involvement in what gets posted.
Long-term, this person has built an audience that extends the reach of the church well past our campuses, and the accounts have become a real front door for people who need to hear that they can win their world.
This is a full-time, non-exempt role. Faith Promise offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, HSA, 403(b) retirement, life insurance, accident, and critical illness coverage, along with paid vacation and PTO.
Pay is based on the established range for the role and relevant experience. Staff development is part of our regular rhythms, with growth recognized through increased contribution, responsibility, and continued development over time.
