We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist for a per diem position to join our fast growing team.

Overview:

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Best Home Health Providers, you will work one-on-one with patients in their homes, helping them recover from swallowing disorders (Dysphagia), Cognitive Communication, Speech and Language: Aphasia, Dysarthria, Apraxia of speech. The per diem position allows for a flexible schedule, making it ideal for SLPs looking for supplemental work or those seeking a more dynamic role in patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans


• Deliver speech-language pathology services in patients’ homes


• Document visits and maintain accurate records per regulatory requirements


• Educate patients and caregivers


• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.


• Adhere to company policies and regulatory guidelines, ensuring high standards of care.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology


• Current SLP license in California


• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)


• 1+ year of home health or clinical experience preferred


• Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.


• Current CPR Certification.


• Current BLS Certification.


• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes.
