Sr. Controls Engineer 

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Engineers, designs, and troubleshoots electrical and control functions on new and existing equipment as necessary to ensure product is functioning properly and safely. Travel as required to customer locations for equipment start up and customer support.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Functions and Details:

a.Engineer and design full electrical systems for heat treating equipment to required codes and standards.

b.Engineer and design equipment control program from concept to completion.

c.Troubleshoot systems in house, on site, and over the phone.

d.Travel as required for service and equipment commissioning (up to 50%).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. PLC/HMI electrical design
2. Fluent in AutoCAD and/or 3D design software
3. Allen Bradley/Wonderware/Siemens S7 experience
4. Strong customer relation skills
5. Organization
6. Excellent Communication
7. Project Management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
2. 10-15 years experience.
3. Ideally experienced in Heat Treat/ Furnace design.
