About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Technology Operations Engineer to join our Technology Command Centre team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability, stability, and continuous improvement of our technology operations. You will help monitor critical systems, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize our technology stack and operational processes. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of driving operational excellence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the performance of technology systems to detect issues proactively.
- Execute incident detection protocols to identify potential service disruptions.
- Coordinate incident response efforts to address and resolve reported issues promptly.
- Implement recovery procedures to restore normal operations following an incident.
- Collaborate with all Technology teams to improve service desk operations and incident management processes.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, including status updates and resolution steps.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge bases and FAQs for Technology support.
- Provide technology service desk support, ensuring efficient resolution of inquiries and fulfillment of service requests.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1-5 years of professional experience in IT Technology operations and support.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting. Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to haves:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Good technical knowledge in application development, systems engineering, network administration, and/or database management.
