Vendor Manager

Overview

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our vendors to ensure the consistent supply of high-quality products. Your expertise will drive our procurement strategy, optimise vendor performance, and enhance our supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure high service levels and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to achieve optimal terms for the company.
• Monitor vendor performance and implement improvement plans as necessary.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of vendor capabilities and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align vendor capabilities with operational needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in vendor management or a similar procurement role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse data and generate reports to inform decision-making.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and procurement systems.
