Rental Counter Agent

We are looking for a  customer-focused counter agent to join our team. Unlike airport operations, this position serves local customers seeking reliable transportation solutions.

This role combines customer service, vehicle coordination, and sales support. 

The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, stays organized under pressure, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with reservations, rentals, extensions, and returns 
• Provide outstanding customer service 
• Sales of protection, upgrades, and more.
• Explain rental options, coverage plans, and additional products and services 
• Process rental agreements and payments accurately 
• Coordinate vehicle availability and scheduling with the operations team 
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after rentals ensuring vehicles are clean and ready for the next customer
• Maintain accurate records and update rental systems 
• Support local business accounts and insurance replacement customers 
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional branch environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or within the car rental industry  is ideal.
• Must work weekends.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and  interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license with good clean driving record (no more than 2 incidents/accidents in last 3 years).
• Must be 18+ years of age a legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check and drug screen.
