Every machine we rent has a job site waiting on it - and it's our mechanics who make sure it shows up ready to work. Tejas Equipment Rentals is hiring a full-time Equipment Mechanic II at our Alvarado branch to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet of construction equipment.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Inspect and perform routine maintenance on a wide range of construction equipment


• Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems, and make the repairs that keep the fleet safe and rental-ready


• Prioritize the day's work with your branch team so the right machines are ready when customers need them


• Keep accurate maintenance records so nothing slips through the cracks


• Follow safety protocols and help keep the shop a secure, professional place to work
