The Rental Key Accounts Representative is responsible for the development and growth of select strategic rental accounts for Wagner Rents in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.”

Pay Range: $23.62- $34.45 per hour.
Pay rate is dependent upon education and experience

Essential Functions:

• Maintain accurate customer call lists, appointment calendars, and customer records in SalesLink and Wagner Rents CRM.


• Conduct office, job site, and on-site sales calls to build relationships and meet customer needs.


• Develop and maintain strong communication with strategic accounts, Regional Managers, and internal stakeholders.


• Serve as a professional ambassador for Wagner Rents, representing the company in a positive and customer-focused manner.


• Complete rental sales transactions that support rental, sales, and profitability objectives established by management.


• Prepare and submit required reports and manage business-related expenses in a timely and accurate manner.


• Quote and promote new and used allied equipment sales opportunities.


• Collaborate with equipment sales and rental representatives to support shared customers and business goals.


• Engage management on key customer relationship matters and strategic account opportunities.


• Effectively communicate and coordinate activities across the Wagner organization.


• Maintain current knowledge of Wagner Rents products, features, benefits, and industry offerings.


• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Required Qualifications (Education and Experience):

• High School Diploma or GED


• 1+ years of administrative/clerical experience


• 1+ years of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications (Education and Experience):

• 3+ years of heavy equipment, engine, or mechanic repair experience


• 1+ years of rental equipment sales experience


• Proficient in Microsoft systems


• Safety & Product Knowledge

Physical Demands:

• Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing


• Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, etc.


• Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills

Competencies:

• Proficient in Microsoft systems Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills


• Safety & Product Knowledge


• Understanding of diagrams and schematics

• Specific Risks: May work in high places and be exposed to equipment vibration and fumes

• Valid Driver’s License (for state of employment)
