Resident Services and AR Collections Specialist

Stonehaven Apartments is seeking a Resident Services & AR Collections Specialist to support both the resident experience and rent collections efforts at our community.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling accounts receivable, delinquent accounts, and payment plan discussions-while still providing excellent customer service.

Because we are a small office team, this position also includes some leasing support as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Post rent payments and fees accurately and daily


• Monitor resident accounts, balances, and delinquency


• Communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances and negotiate payment plans


• Execute consistent collections strategies to reduce delinquency


• Prepare late notices and collection-related correspondence


• Maintain detailed records of all collection activity


• Process invoices and assist with accounts payable coordination


• Answer phones, assist residents, and support general office operations


• Assist with leasing inquiries, tours, and follow-up as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in property management, accounts receivable, or collections


• Experience handling delinquent accounts and payment arrangements preferred


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Highly organized with strong attention to detail


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
