Behavioral Health Tech (Residential)

Position Summary:
The Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) provides direct support to clients in a residential behavioral health treatment setting. This role focuses on maintaining a structured environment, implementing treatment plans, and assisting with daily activities.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support clients in daily routines.


• Monitor client behavior and provide crisis intervention as needed.


• Assist with group activities and therapeutic exercises.


• Document client progress and behavior.


• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.

• Ability to de-escalate situations and provide crisis intervention.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.


• Minimum of 1 year of experience in behavioral health.

Additional Requirements:

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining licensure and certifications.


• If in recovery, a minimum of 2 years of sobriety is required.
