Residential Roofing Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated, personable, and results-driven Residential Roofing Sales Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for helping homeowners identify their roofing needs, educating customers on available solutions, preparing estimates, and guiding customers through the sales process from initial inspection through completed installation.

The ideal candidate is confident communicating with homeowners, comfortable working independently, and motivated by earning potential and customer satisfaction. Roofing experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and develop residential roofing leads through company-provided opportunities, referrals, networking, and self-generated leads.
• Meet with homeowners to assess roofing concerns and identify potential repair or replacement needs.
• Conduct professional roof inspections and document damage, measurements, and project requirements.
• Educate homeowners on roofing materials, installation processes, warranties, and available options.
• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals based on the scope of work.
• Present roofing solutions clearly and professionally to homeowners.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Guide customers through the entire process, from initial consultation through contract signing and installation.
• Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure customer expectations are clearly communicated.
• Maintain accurate customer information, sales activity, appointments, and project updates in the company's CRM.
• Build strong relationships with homeowners, referral partners, and community contacts.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.

Qualifications

• Previous sales, customer service, construction, or roofing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet, CRM, and basic computer applications.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to safely access residential roofs when required and physically perform inspections.
• Willingness to learn roofing products, installation practices, and applicable building requirements.
