Residential Service Electrician
Katy / Greater Houston, TX. Full-time, day shift. Take-home truck.
Join a well-established residential electrical service company that has served the Greater Houston area for more than 30 years. We run service calls in occupied homes (not new construction), take pride in clean, code-compliant work, and treat every homeowner interaction as part of the job. We're growing and hiring multiple Residential Service Electricians this year, with real room to advance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Diagnose and repair residential electrical issues: panels, service upgrades, troubleshooting, lighting, outlets, and safety repairs. Present repair and upgrade options clearly and professionally, without pressure. Deliver clean work that meets NEC and local code. Represent the company well in customers' homes.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Texas Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician license, or genuinely test-ready. Strong residential electrical service experience running your own calls. Confidence with complex diagnostics. Excellent homeowner communication. Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record. Ability to pass a background check. ServiceTitan or a similar CRM is a plus.
SCHEDULE
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. A take-home company truck and gas card are provided (your first month is based out of our Katy shop).
COMPENSATION
Pay is set by license level: Residential Wireman $25/hr and Journeyman Electrician $30/hr, depending on experience, plus overtime and performance spiffs. Realistic first-year earnings of $80,000 to $100,000, with top performers reaching $130,000 to $150,000 and above.
