The Resource Coordinator provides leadership and oversight for the organization, preparation, and distribution of ministry resources across all RPC Kids campuses. This role is highly collaborative and team-oriented, working closely with the RPC Kids staff to ensure excellence in curriculum support, weekly programming needs, and operational consistency across a multi-site environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Ensure that Large Group and Small Group supplies, specific to weekly curriculum, are prepared and ready by Friday of each week for Birth-5th grade for both Central and Parker Square Campus classrooms
Keep track of receipts & spending and adhere to the finance office guidelines for turning in receipts and expenses
Track the Sunday programming budget and orders accordingly (notifying the Children’s Minister of any large purchases which may impact the budget significantly)
Work in tandem with the Curriculum Director in planning/purchasing supplies and crafts at least two weeks in advance of weekly Sunday programming
Oversee and work alongside two teams (for Central and Parker Square) of 2-3 volunteers weekly to ensure all supplies are ready for Sunday programming by Friday of that week
Coordinate a weekly schedule for volunteers at both campuses and work alongside them in accomplishing supply preparation
Principal Duties and Responsibilities for Resource Room Management/Purchasing
Assess and ensure supplies are stocked for the elementary Central and Parker Square resource rooms
Assess and ensure consumable supplies are stocked during summer months for preschool Central resource room
Keep Central and Parker Square resource rooms organized and communicate with staff when they should play a role in this
Communicate and train supply/resource room volunteers for both campuses
Maintain the Asana checklist for purchasing and provide the supplies for all areas, as requested by ministry leaders
Additional Tasks & Responsibilities
Attend weekly Children’s Ministry staff meetings
Attend Children’s Ministry retreats or conferences when able
Attend Level 1 events (e.g., CT, Christmas, Easter and Promotion), as directed by the Childcare Director & Children’s Minister
Help plan the yearly volunteer and team leader connection events with other staff
Involved in the planning and execution of Level 1 events for CM such as CrossTraining and Easter
Recruit and encourage volunteers that share a passion for missions and children
Report any needs and issues that may need the attention of the Children’s Minister in a timely manner
Attends Yearly CMIN Planning/Spiritual Retreat
Clear understanding of, and commitment to modeling our RPC Staff Values
Handle and safeguard confidential church information
Actively attend Sunday worship services
Attend required staff meetings (1st & 3rd Tuesdays and any team meetings)
Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Skills & Attributes
Basic knowledge of, or ability to learn, platforms used by RockPointe Church: Bamboo, TouchPoint, eSpace, Nexonia, Martus, Asana, Canva, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
Demonstrate computer literacy and willing to learn the workings of the RPC Kids media stations and check-in system
Task-oriented mindset
Ability to interact with a wide range of people compassionately and patiently
Handle matters with sensitivity and grace
Desire to build relationships with ministry volunteers and RPC Kids families
Ability to juggle multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy
Operate as a self-starter and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills (written & verbal)
Responsiveness and flexibility regarding time-sensitive changes and/or ministry needs
