Restaurant Supervisor

Under the direct supervision of the Food & Beverage Manager this position assists with supervising the day-to-day operations in the Restaurant, both front and back of house. 

• Trains staff
• Provides general direction and basic work assignments to front line employees
• Knowledge of full Menu/Specials/Restaurant and Casino Promotions at all times
• Ensures guest satisfaction and resolves any disputes or complaints
• Communicates to Management any work-related issues that occur during an assigned shift, including employee relations or performance issues, facility, or safety issues
• Assists Front of House staff with seating guests, clearing tables, ringing out guests, setting tables, and getting drink orders
• Assists BOH Kitchen staff with stocking, prep work, order preparation, and food expedition
• Ensures quality of ingredients, preparation, presentation, and portion control and correct temperature of the food served
• Ensures all staff maintain a clean and orderly server/prep station
• Assists F&B Manager in resolving employee disputes
• Assists, as needed, to maintain standard of appearance, sanitation, and service in all Front and Back of House areas
• Maintains excellent guest service
• Assists with all product orders
• Responsible for taking, placing, and delivering food and beverage orders placed by guests as needed
• Finds or provides coverage in all areas of the Restaurant in the event of employee call outs
• Assists Management with restaurant scheduling if needed; must be familiar with Microsoft Office, Agilysys and other reports (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Provides clear communication and directions to employees
• Adjusts and verifies check lists including routine cleaning schedules, side work, and ice cream machine
• Monitors and tracks Employee attendance
• Reviews guest comment cards and delivers the results to Management
• Rotates server stations and assign early outs in a fair and consistent manner
