Retail Counter Salesperson (hourly rate of pay + commission)

We are looking for motivated individuals who strive to deliver industry leading Retail customer service and automotive knowledge.  This position will involve helping customers mostly in the store and occasionally by phone with selecting products to build their dream cars or enhance their daily drivers.  Agents sell product, offer upsells, and cross-sells products to match the customer’s needs.

Applicants must have a genuine automotive interest, a high level of attention to detail, capability to deliver exceptional service, and a knack for problem-solving.  Experience as an automotive hobbyist or prior careers within the automotive industry is highly desired and should be noted on your application.

Level 1 Retail Sales –Applicants should possess an interest in the automotive industry, along with knowledge and experience either selling parts or working in the automotive industry.  All levels of prior experience in the automotive industry are welcome to apply. Experience in machine shops or engine rebuilding is a plus.  All you need to bring to the table is a willingness to learn, and a passion for excellent customer service…we provide the rest! Level 2 Retail Sales - This position differs from Level 1 Sales by offering higher starting wage potential based on experience. This position requires in-depth knowledge and/or experience in the high-performance automotive industry.

Schedule & working hours:

• schedule is designed to meet customer/business needs. Weekend & closing shift(s) are required. The option of working (4) 10-hour shifts or (5) 8-hour shifts are available.
• Retail employees cover all hours of operation with periods of overtime, as needed.

Earning Potential**

Starting wage/first year:

• Level 1 Retail Sales starting wage is $16.50 per hour with full commission.  Average annual wage - $40,560 to $45,760 per year (hourly + commission)
• Level 2 Retail Sales starting wage is one dollar increase per hour from starting wage of level 1.  Average annual wage - $42,640 to $48,880 per year (hourly + commission)
• Commission per hour average range is three – six dollars from actual hourly wage.
