Retail Energy Program Ambassador

We are seeking outgoing, motivated, and customer-focused individuals to represent an energy savings and efficiency program inside major retail store locations. As a Retail Energy Program Ambassador, you will engage with shoppers, educate them on available energy-saving programs, and assist with enrollment in services designed to help reduce household energy costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with customers in retail store environments in a friendly and professional manner
• Educate customers on available energy efficiency and savings programs
• Clearly explain program benefits, eligibility requirements, and the enrollment process
• Assist customers with program sign-ups using tablets or mobile devices
• Maintain a positive, professional presence while representing the program in-store
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly enrollment and performance goals
• Track customer interactions and accurately report results to management
• Set up, maintain, and manage promotional displays when required

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable initiating conversations with the public in a retail environment
• Previous experience in retail, sales, customer service, or brand ambassador roles preferred
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
• Basic computer and mobile device proficiency (tablet/data entry)
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and performance-driven mindset

Preferred Skills

• Experience in brand ambassador, lead generation, retail sales, or promotional marketing
• Bilingual communication skills (a plus, not required)
