Job Description - Retail Interiors Coordinator

Buck Mason is seeking a highly organized, design-minded Retail Interiors Coordinator to own the details that keep our stores looking and feeling exceptional. This role is equal parts operations, interiors, and project coordination, ideal for someone who notices crooked frames, knows the difference between oak finishes, and finds satisfaction in a perfectly executed task list.

You are deeply organized, have impeccable taste, and take pride in preserving the unique character of every Buck Mason space. Whether coordinating furniture repairs, sourcing vintage pieces, or ensuring maintenance requests are completed on time, you are the person who makes sure nothing slips through the cracks.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the steward of Buck Mason's retail environment, ensuring every store reflects our brand standards and aesthetic.

  • Support maintenance requests across all retail locations.

  • Coordinate repairs, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely completion of work.

  • Maintain furniture, fixtures, décor, artwork, lighting, and styling elements across stores.

  • Source and procure furniture, antiques, and design pieces that align with the Buck Mason brand.

  • Track projects, expenses, and timelines with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Conduct regular store audits and identify opportunities to elevate the customer experience.

  • Partner with Retail, Construction, and Visual teams to execute refreshes and special projects.

  • Own inventory and organization of fixtures, furniture, and design assets.

  • Anticipate issues before they arise and proactively solve problems.

  • Maintain detailed records and follow-up to ensure nothing is left unfinished.

Required Skills:

  • 1-3 years of experience in facilities coordination, store operations, project management, visual merchandising, interiors, hospitality, or a related field.

  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and a Type-A mindset.

  • Exceptional taste and appreciation for furniture, materials, architecture, and design.

  • Passion for vintage furnishings, craftsmanship, and creating beautiful spaces.

  • A natural task master who thrives on lists, deadlines, and bringing order to complexity.

  • Strong communication and vendor management skills.

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.

  • Proficient with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and project management tools.

  • Willingness to travel periodically to stores as needed.

Who you are:

  • You straighten picture frames without thinking.

  • You know the difference between walnut and white oak.

  • You appreciate craftsmanship and obsess over the details others overlook.

  • You get genuine satisfaction from crossing items off a list.

  • You believe a store should feel as intentional and lived-in as a well-designed home.

  • You care deeply about creating environments that leave lasting impressions.

$71,000 - $80,000 a year
Here at Buck Mason, we're all about transparency and fairness, especially when it comes to compensation. While the base salary range for this role is $71,000-80,000 per year, your total compensation package may include commissions, bonuses and other perks tailored to your performance and dedication to our craft.
Buck Mason designs updated, modern American classics for daily wear. Founded in 2013 by Sasha Koehn and Erik Allen Ford, who were neighbors in Venice, California, they initially set up shop in a 350 square foot garage off Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Using old school manufacturing techniques combined with modern technology, they took an architectural approach to product with the goal of making fashion less complicated, building each piece to last beyond a single season.
