OneHealth Pharmacy, LLC, a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation. Practice manages a freestanding outpatient 7-day per week Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department.

As a Certified Pharmacy Technician at OneHealth Pharmacy, LLC you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the pharmacy and ensuring that all pharmacy activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Focus on providing safe, effective, and efficient services to our customers.

In this role, you will:

Assist the Pharmacist in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently (Prepare and labeling medications).
Manage inventory levels and ordering of medications and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
Ensure that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Monitor and evaluate pharmacy performance to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Maintain accurate and complete records of all pharmacy activities, including dispensing records, inventory records, and patient records.
Ensure that the pharmacy is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Conduct conversations with physicians and other healthcare providers to promote the pharmacy’s products and services and build referral relationships.
Process prescription orders, coordinate pick up in our locations or delivery if applicable based on insurance. Work with the financial counseling department to provide financial assistance and counseling to patients who may have difficulty paying for their medications.
Collaborate with the authorization department to ensure that prior authorizations for medications are obtained in a timely manner and that the pharmacy is reimbursed for services rendered.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and other employees.

We require:

2+ years’ experience in Retail Pharmacy setting
A valid Pharmacy Technician Certification
Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills
Experience with QS1 Pharmacy Software is preferable, but not required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
